Day 79 - Tuesday 2nd June 2020

Location: London, UK COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak Lockdown #blacklivesmatter Today was a powerful day on social media.  My Instagram scrolling was black square after black square #blackouttuesday I am listening, my ears and my heart are open, I want to do what I can and I am trying to understand something that I never fully will, because I am white. Day 37 - Tuesday 21st April 2020

Location: London, UK COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak Lockdown I love reading and always have.  I grew up surrounded by books and people who also loved to read. If my sister or I ever uttered the words "I'm bored" we were always directed to pick up a book. In recent years I haven't read anywhere near as much as I would have liked.  It's a matter of time.  Like most actors, I work full time at something else as well and then try to fit in classes for my professional skills around the "money" job.  This makes spare time a thing always slightly out of reach. When I do have time to read, say during a commute, I would try to catch up with my industry related publications, namely The Stage newspaper and Empire magazine.  I'm also often learning lines or preparing for something, so reading time became work time. This lockdown has afforded me some time and I'm using it to read where I can.  And I'm loving it! I will read almost anyt...
