The Extreme Staycation

Location: London, UK COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak Lockdown Lots of places are re-opening now for take-aways and one of them is McDonalds with their Drive Thru.  This man was seemingly so in need of his Big Mac that he made a car from a cardboard box.  He queued for half and hour and then didn't get served but seemed ok - he did it for the craic appararently and to help lighten the mood.  I think you have to applaud the ingenuity! https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/whats-on/food-drink-news/mcdonalds-fan-tries-luck-re-18355760

Location: London, UK COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak Lockdown Exciting day today.  I had my first Starbucks in 12 weeks.  It was actually my third attempt at getting one... First try, I got there just as they were closing.  Second, I realised that I had to order via the app and mine kept crashing, but today, post 5km run, I got my coffee. A small, simple little slice of "normality" which felt good.
