Location: London, UK COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak Lockdown You can tell when there isn't a lot going on in the news when this is a headline. In north London, there are two very well known roads which run parallel to each other - Bishops Avenue and Winnington Road, where houses go from around £5million to £23million. The owning of exotic pets seems to go hand in hand w ith wealth and one of these animals, a Savannah cat, made a break for freedom last week.  A Savannah cat is a cross between a serval and a domestic cat but to the uninitiated, it could look like a cheetah.  There are various grades of Savannah, from the F1 breed who share the most DNA with a serval and then F2, F3 etc - F2 onwards are legal to own in the UK - they are apparently friendly, like water, can jump pretty high and are keen hunters - much to the distress of other local pet owners who's pets have been terrorised.
