As a child I had activities after school almost every day and some back to back on Saturdays - ballet followed gymnastics - my poor dad ferrying me on and off buses for half of his well earned weekend. And I've always had a sense of there not being enough time for it all. I want to do things, go places, read stuff and one lifetime isn't long enough. Even now, with a gift of seemingly unending time on my hands, I still need more. What I have refused to face up to and am still in denial about, is that I won't do all the things I want, travel to places on my bucketlist, I won't read all the books and watch all the films.
